Oxford Sports Heaterz Heated Grips are Here!

We're pleased to introduce the latest addition to our line-up, just in time for the REALLY cold weather: Oxford Sports Heaterz Heated Grips for 7/8. These grips have a few nice improvements over the models we've carried in the past, so we put together the following article detailing the upgrades.

For starters, the Sports Heaterz feature a super-sticky diamond grip pattern which makes them ideal for everyday riding and/or really cold track days.

The Original grip style is shown below on the left, with the Sports grip style on the right. See for yourself!

Another change to Heaterz came by way of an improved temperature controller with an independent on/off switch. The new controller features multi-colored LED's for each power setting, which makes it easy to see how hot you're cranking the grips. At full power, the grips can reach upwards of 115 degrees Fahrenheit. NOTE: Heated grips like the Heaterz are designed for use with gloves only, and can cause serious injury if used with bare hands. But...why would you be riding without armored gloves, anyway?!

The two controllers are shown below, Original on the left, and Sports on the right.

The Sports Heaterz, like the originals, are 4.9" in length, which makes them the ideal choice for most sport/dual-sport/sport-touring bikes on the market. They're also fully compatible with throttle-lock devices, such as the ones manufactured by Kaoko, and with bar-end mounted handguards like the Barkbusters S5 kit shown below.
